I hear a voice laughing
And I turn,
There's no one there
I hear whispers behind me
And I turn,
They're gone
And, late at night,
(please don't tell anyone)
I hear voices
Calling out my name.
Sometimes,
It's a yell,
Other times,
A whisper,
But never more than
Just my name.
(please don't tell
.............................................................................they'll think i'm crazy)
And never during the day,
Maybe it's only a dream
But it seems so real
(wake me up
.............................................oh please someone wake me)
And suddenly,
I'm falling,
Then....
The dreams.
And now it's
Morning
And I hear laughter
And voices behind me
And I turn,
Fingers point in my direction
And the whispers continue.
Time passes.
And soon,
The voices in
My head are
Speaking more than
Just my name...
